-
Babchi Seed Oil (Cold Pressed)
Babchi Seed Oil (CO2)
Babchi Seed Oil (Solvent Extraction)
Bakuchiol < 99% purity
-
Babchi seed oil is obtained through cold pressing the seeds of Psoralea-corylifolia
It contains an active content of 30% - 40%, which likely refers to the concentration of Bakuchiol, the primary active compound found in Babchi seed oil. However, it also contains other itching elements that make it unsuitable for use on the skin.
-
Babchi seed oil is likely obtained using a supper-critical carbon dioxide (Co2) extraction method. It can yield higher concentrations of the active compound and it contains a higher active content of 40%-50%, but like the previous type, it is not suitable for skin use.
-
Babchi seed oil is extracted using solvents.
It cannot be used in skin care due to traces of solvent present in the oil, making it unsuitable for cosmetic or skin-care purposes. Additionally, it may have a lower active content.
-
This natural alternative to Bakuchiol has an active ingredient concentration of <99%, which is quite high but, it contains Iso-psoralen and Psoralen concentrations which cause itching, irritation, redness, and black spots hence, not suitable for skin.
